Heba has attained her Masters in Clinical and Developmental Psychology from the University of Heidelberg, Germany. An essential element of her program was practical seminars and training hours that exposed her to an array of psychological disorders, including Personality Disorders, Mood Disorders, Anxiety and Eating Disorders. Furthermore, she expanded her experience through work with ADHD children, refugee children and trauma survivors, in addition to her work at a psychosocial counseling clinic that encompassed therapists from different therapeutic approaches and backgrounds. Additionally, she spent 4 months at the pediatric psychiatric clinic of the University of Heidelberg, conducting complete assessments and providing psychotherapy. Currently, Heba works at Al Mashfa Psychiatric Hospital as a Clinical Psychologist/Psychotherapist. She prefers to empower her clients using an eclectic approach, treating each person as their own entity, knowing that people have different perspectives and ways of thinking and of viewing life. Her therapy sessions are tailor-made to suit the client’s needs and to ensure fruitful and effective results. Heba conducts her sessions with empathy allowing clients to speak freely knowing that there would be no judgment. She also believes in the therapeutic effect of Group therapy and has led and assisted in Group therapy sessions of various topics. She conducts sessions in Arabic, English and German.
